Before you are going to display advertisements on a stretch monitor display, make sure below parameters of your advertisement are the same as the stretch display. Otherwise, your advertisement may not ideally showed on the monitor.
Screen ratio
- Since stretching the display may change the normal screen ratio, the design of the advertising content should take into account different stretching degrees to avoid over-stretching or deformation of important elements (such as product image, brand logo, promotional information, etc.). You can use some designs that can adapt to the screen ratio, or test at various stretching ratios in advance.
- For advertising materials with strict shape requirements such as characters and geometric figures, ensure that the basic visual effects and information transmission can be maintained after stretching, such as the proportion of the characters' facial features is coordinated, and the geometric figures are not distorted to the point of being unrecognizable.
Text clarity
- Stretching may make the text blurry or difficult to read. The text in the advertisement should be large enough and use simple and clear fonts. Avoid using overly fancy and complex fonts, and ensure that it can still be clearly legible after stretching.
- In terms of text layout, avoid too dense text and reserve enough space to prevent text overlap after stretching.
Visual focus
- Clarify the location of the core information of the advertisement and ensure that the visual focus can still guide the audience's attention after stretching. For example, highlight important product features or promotional content through color contrast, element size contrast, etc.
- The focus of dynamic elements in the advertisement (such as animation, video, etc.) should not be lost due to stretching, and the display effect of these elements in different stretching states should be considered in advance.
Color and contrast
- Ensure that the color of the advertisement can be displayed correctly on the stretched display without color deviation due to stretching. In addition, there should be enough contrast so that the advertisement content can stand out on different stretched screen backgrounds.
